Chicago Blackhawks Trade Rumors Are Buzzing
If you have been on social media today especially Twitter, then you know that the Chicago Blackhawks look to be ready to make a big move in the next day or two.
The first move seems to have been a deal done some time ago with Marcus Kruger heading to the Vegas Golden Knights. I keep seeing that this is a done deal, but no one has announced that it is a done deal yet either.
One way or another Kruger and most likely Trevor van Riemsdyk will be on the Vegas club next season, and it appears to be just a matter of time for the official announcement to be made.
Now, to the big Chicago Blackhawks trade rumor that has been buzzing since yesterday. Two bloggers that are in the know have posted tweets yesterday about a big deal about to go down. The first one was very non-specific and he never revealed the rumor.
The second tweet was from Jay Zawaski who in the past has a source that is usually spot on with the trade rumors. Don’t quote me, but I believe he had Teuvo Teravainen with Bryan Bickell to the Carolina Hurricanes correct. Anyways, here is his tweet from last night.
Scott Powers has tweeted out today that both Brent Seabrook and Artem Anisimov haven’t been asked to waive their no trade clause yet.
The Three Core players of Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, and Duncan Keith all seem to be untouchable which really leaves us one player to be traded right now if nobody has waived their no trade clause, and that’s Artemi Panarin.

First off, the trade rumors all have the Hawks dumping Brent Seabrook for picks or prospects to free up some salary cap space. Most of the trade rumors have him going to Toronto, but I if you read all the accounts it could be Panarin on his way out of Chicago.
The thing about Panarin leaving is that he brings back the most in return. Any of the other players leaving just frees up salary cap space.
