It’s gameday Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Blackhawks will host the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight at the United Center.
The Chicago Blackhawks played twice during the preseason with neither team playing their A squad on the road with both B teams winning on the road.
This of course will be Artemi Panarin‘s first game back to Chicago since getting traded this summer for Brandon Saad, and the Chicago Blackhawks didn’t look like they missed the Breadman very much on Thursday night with the Hawks scoring 10 times and Patrick Kane picking up a goal and 3 assists.
The Blackhawks will get the benefit of playing another team at the United Center coming off their home opener on back to back nights. Columbus hosted the New York Rangers at home last night.
The one thing many people weren’t talking about yesterday after the 10-1 win was the fact that Corey Crawford played a very solid game especially early in the 2nd period when the Penguins had their only real push of the game. Crawford needs to be solid with the new young and inexperienced defense.

Well, as we move on to the predictions I had the Chicago Blackhawks winning big over the Pittsburgh Penguins, but not 10-1 big so I’m off to an ok start with the predictions. The one predictions I really wanted to see was an Alex DeBrincat goal but we didn’t get to see that.
Final Score Prediction– The Hawks offense scores again and win 5-1 for a quick 2-0 start to the season with this being the game that DeBrincat gets his first career NHL goal.
Three Stars Predictions
#3 Star- Artemi Panarin with the only Columbus goal
#2 Star- Patrick Sharp 1 Goal 1 Assist
#1 Star- Jonathan Toews-2 Goals
