Happy Halloween!

The Chicago Blackhawks are heading into the second game of their two-game road trip before heading back home.

They will be facing the Boston Bruins today (Oct. 31), and they'll be looking to end their Father's Trip on a high note.

But while we await their matinee game, here is the latest content from our writing team.

Latest from Blackhawk Up

  • The offense has been a struggle to come by, as they have only scored six goals in their last four games. Jake Tyle outlined three potential forwards that general manager Kyle Davidson could consider if they were to go the trade route.

Blackhawks treats from the week

  • Defenseman Kevin Korchinski has slotted back into the lineup and has been paired with Sam Rinzel. They had immediate success together against the Florida Panthers. Rhys Jones talked about their growing confidence.

The Blackhawks will hope this Halloween won't be a spooky one for them. The Bruins are coming off a recent 4-1 loss to the St. Louis Blues, and Bruins captain David Pastrňák called today's matchup a "big game."

It's just as big for the Blackhawks. If they can put together a great performance against the fourth-best team in the NHL, that would be huge.

We'll see what tricks these two teams have up their sleeve, as both battle for redemption in a spirited Original Six game.
