Connor Bedard sure picked a good time to snap an eight-game goal drought.
His game-winning overtime goal with 1:50 on the clock allowed the Chicago Blackhawks to pick up a 4-3 victory over the Utah Club.
It also bailed out the Hawks from possibly taking a loss after squandering a 3-1 lead.
What was impressive about the goal was it came in a fashion that only superstars can produce.

It was as if he was taking a stroll through the park as he glided around the net, took a quick pivot, flicked his wrists, and the puck found the back of the net.
The goal also served as a reminder that he can still be a national draw despite the haters feeling otherwise.
It was also Bedard's 50th point of the season.
However, it is only Connor's 17th goal of the season. Although he needs six more goals to top the 22 he scored during his rookie season last year.
Bedard also entered the game on a seven-game scoring drought. He snapped that dry spell when he picked up the assist on Wyatt Kaiser's second-period goal that tied the game at one.
Bedard earned that assist as he never gave up on the puck and flicked a sweet pass right on Kaiser's stick.

It was also his 73rd career helper which was good for another milestone in his budding career.

Bedard was not the only young player who impressed for the Blackhawks.
Spencer Knight made his second-career start in goal for the Hawks and showed why he is once again the team's current and future No. 1 goalie.
He stopped 36 of 39 Utah Hockey Club's shots. He made a highlight save in the first period that showed off the immense talent he has in goal.

Frank Nazar also scored on a penalty shot in the second period.
The Blackhawks have picked up a point in six of their past ten games (4-4-2 in that span). However, they are still second in the Tankathon standings, meaning if the season ended today, the Hawks would have the second-most ping-pong balls in the NHL Draft Lottery hopper.
Hopefully, the Hawks can use that potential top-five pick to add a player capable of helping Bedard produce more nights like he had last night.
