Since the Chicago Blackhawks benefitted from trading Seth Jones to Florida, it is fine that he is now a Stanley Cup champion.
It is also fine to enjoy former Hawks forward Corey Perry continuing to lose in the Stanley Cup Finals since his brief tenure ended in controversial fashion. Plus, it was always uncomfortable seeing him in Blackhawks sweater given he was a major villain during the Hawks 2015 title run.
As much as I wanted Draisaitl & McDavid to get a Cup, Corey Perry losing another Stanley Cup Final is still entertaining. Someone will have to pry the Cup from the Panthers' cold, dead hands.

Perry has now lost out on hoisting the Stanley Cup in his past five appearances.
Although he can at least take solace that his name is on Lord Stanley's Cup after he won one with the Anaheim Ducks in 2007. His time with the Ducks is also what made him hated in Chicago.
He is the epitome of a guy who keeps falling up after his Hart Trophy-winning days are long gone.
Perry has found his way onto a contender's roster after leaving the Ducks following the 2018-19 season. However, the contender he latches onto has always been the runner-up.
Corey Perry has now lost five of the last six Stanley Cup Finals

He was on the Dallas Stars squad that lost the Stanley Cup to the Tampa Bay Lightning four games to two in 2020. Then he joined the Montreal Canadiens the next season and lost in the finals to Lightning again in five games.
Since he could not beat Tampa, he joined them in 2022 and then lost in the Stanley Cup Finals to the Colorado Avalanche in six games.
After missing out on making the Finals in the 2022-23 season, he returned to the championship round with the Edmonton Oilers last season and lost in the title round to the Florida Panthers.
The Panthers' win in the rematch made Perry a five-time loser. As the Seinfeld sarcastic meme says, 'that's a shame.'
Guess karma does exist, as this could not have happened to a more despised guy, at least within the Blackhawks fan base. There was no love for Perry after the 2015 Western Conference Finals when the Hawks had to rally back to win in seven games over the Ducks.
He later signed with the Blackhawks last season with the hopes of providing Connor Bedard with some veteran guidance. Instead, an off-ice incident led to Perry's contract being terminated just 16 games into his Hawks tenure.
Perry took a brief step away from hockey before latching on with the Oilers. To Perry's credit, he has gone from a superstar player to a valuable veteran player contenders can still count on to provide some offensive support.
He might also be bad luck since he keeps ending up on the losing side in the Stanley Cup Finals.
